Dear members of Labyrint,
On the 29th of April, the General Assembly (G.A.) took place. In the beginning, some adjusted documents were checked, such as the Adjusted Rebudget of Board 79 and the Revised Advisory Board Regulations. After that, the Financial Half Yearly Report of Board 79 was presented. In this blogpost you will find the English summary, where the important decisions and updates are described.
Announcements & updates
At the beginning of the General Assembly (G.A), there was room for announcements and updates from the G.A Chairman, the Board, and the committees. The Board announced that there was a bingo again and that the International Bachelor of Psychology continues to exist. They also gave a reminder for appointing members of merit for the next. G.A. and for the other G.A. documents. Finally, some changes in the First Years Weekend Committee took place.
The Advisory Board reported that the Half Yearly Report of Board 79 has been well adjusted and that people can apply to join the Advisory Board before May 7th. The Treasury Committee announced that the Rebudget Board 79 has been well adjusted as well and that the Finances are Fun takes place on May 11th. The G.A. reported that the Revised Treasury Committee Regulations and Changes was included in the convocate incorrectly and the Advisory Board Regulations were well revised.
Finally, all the committees gave updates regarding their activities or products. The All Years Weekend Committee explained that they had organized a successful Cantus and that they are done evaluating. The Yearbook Committee announced that they are busy with designing the yearbook and that people can fill in the Laby statistics. The Short Studytrip Committee is working on the social activity of May 19th and the Congress Committee has had their last evaluation meeting. The deSofa Committee reported that the first edition is out and that you can still get your physical copy. The First Years Weekend Committee is busy doing interviews for the mentors and with setting up the program of the weekend. The Party Committee is working hard on the party of June 10th and the Formation Committee announced that the reveal of Candidate Board 80 will be revealed on Instagram on Friday, May 1st in the evening. The Network Committee explained that they have a Lecture and Symposium coming up soon. The Education Committee reported that the Music Therapy Workshop was a success and that there will be an evaluation on it soon. The Social Activities Committee had their Gala recently, which they thought went great, and that they are now working on the social activity that takes place on June 3rd. The Starting Committee mentioned that they are also almost done after organizing a successful Booze Cruise and the Long Studytrip Committee will go to Madrid from May 3rd to May 9th. Finally, the Wellbeing Committee pointed out that the Labyrun Colorfestival will take place on May 12th and that you can sign up and raise money for a good cause.
Presentation Financial Half Yearly Report Board 79 2025-2026 and Specification
The Treasurer of Board 79 presented the Financial Half Yearly Report of Board 79. She explained that this is a snapshot of the financial situation of the association on a specific date. Everything seemed to be correct in terms of content, but some adjustments are needed in the Specification. The Financial Half Yearly Report of Board 79 was approved by the G.A. subject to the said changes.
Any Other Business (A.O.B.)
The Board performed a little play again for the motion of Board 77, in which they reentacted the Labyrun in ‘penguin language’. Additionally, the Board checked and announced that no one had bingo this G.A..

Do you want to be present at the next General Assembly? Come to the G.A. of June 1st! During this G.A., the voting of Candidate Board 80 will take place among other things. There will also be cake and bingo again!
NOTE: This is a Dutch event. However, it is possible to authorise someone online to vote on your behalf during General Assemblies. You can do this via the Labyrint website. Online authorisation can be done until two hours before the General Assembly starts. You can also send an e-mail to request that an item on the agenda will be discussed in English five days before the G.A. at the latest.
