IMPORTANT: PTSD lecture postponed

We have some important information about the lecture about PTSD in Holocaust Survivors that was meant to take place tomorrow, Tuesday March 10th. As a precautionary measure for COVID-19, our guest speaker who works with the elderly has been instructed to stay at home. In the meantime, we are looking for another date to organise the lecture. We apologise for the inconvenience caused and assure you that you will receive an email shortly with all the new information about the lecture. Your ticket will still be valid for the lecture on the new date. However if you can no longer make the new date, Labyrint will gladly refund your ticket.
If you have any questions please feel free to send an email to intern@labyrintleiden.nl.

In conjunction with the Long Study Trip to Krakow where we will be visiting Auschwitz, a pivotal site in the systematic-genocide of Jewish people by the Nazi’s, Labyrint is organising a lecture on PTSD in Auschwitz Survivors. The lecture will be given by Dr. Herman Teerhöfer from Tilburg University. He has dedicated his life to compiling stories of Auschwitz survivors and to deepen the understanding of how these survivors have spiritually managed to keep themselves going and how they have given meaning to their lives after the war despite the loss and trauma they have experienced. Are you ready to broaden your knowledge on PTSD and join us as we learn more about PTSD in Auschwitz survivors? If so, save the date! The lecture will take place on the 10th of March in the faculty of Social & Behavioural Sciences in room 1A01.

Prices are €3,- for Labyrint members, €5,- for non-Labyrint members and € 5,50 at the door (drinks and snacks included). We are looking forward to seeing you there!
